What we do with your data.

Plain version first, then the detail. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will answer in the same plain terms.

This page is not finished.

We are not going to publish a promise we have not decided on, so the sections we have not settled are missing rather than filled with something vague. Everything printed below is true today. If you need an answer to one of the items listed here before that, email us and we will answer in writing.

Still to be published:

  • who the data controller is: the registered entity, its number, its address and its jurisdiction
  • the lawful basis we rely on, which depends on whether we accept applications from outside the UAE
  • the sub-processors, by name and by where each one stores data
  • how long we keep a candidate record, and what happens at the end of it
  • your rights, the deadline we answer within, and who you can complain to
  • whether the site sets any cookie beyond the one that keeps you signed in

The short version

We hold CVs to get people jobs
That is the purpose. Not to build a list to sell, and not to keep forever.
Employers see you when you are shortlisted
We share your details with a client when we put you forward for their role, and not before.
You can see what we hold
Ask, and we will tell you. Ask us to delete it and we will.
We do not sell your data
Not to advertisers, not to other agencies, not to anybody.

What we collect

If you apply for a job

Your name, email, phone number, country of residence, your CV, anything you write in the application, any video or voice introduction you record, and your answers to any screening questions. We also record which jobs you have applied for and what stage each application is at.

Your account

When you apply we set up an account for you, so you can see every application you have sent us in one place. It has no password until you choose one. The link is in the email confirming your application, and you do not have to use it. We do not use it to market anything to you.

If you start an application and stop

If you fill in your name, email and phone number and then leave without sending the application, we keep those details so we can help you finish. We do not treat that as an application, we do not send it to anyone, and we delete it as soon as you ask or as soon as you complete the application.

If you enquire about hiring

Your name, work email, phone number, your company, and what you wrote about the role.

Automatically, on every visit

Your IP address, your browser, and which pages you looked at. On a job page we record that the page was viewed and for how long, so we can tell an employer whether their advert is working. That is counted, not tied to your name.

Who we share it with

Clients

When we put you forward for a role, that client sees your details. Until they accept you, most clients see an anonymised version: your experience and our summary, without your name and contact details. Some clients have that turned off by agreement and see your name from the start.

Nobody else, for marketing

We do not sell or rent your details.

Our suppliers

We use other companies to run the platform. They only ever process data on our instructions. The list of who they are and where they store data is one of the things still to be published above.

Asking us for something

Email us and say what you want. We will not ask you to fill in a form.
